IRAIMER’s Culinary Journey

Iraimer discovered her passion for food at an early age growing up in a multicultural household where the act of preparing food was a sacred ritual around community and culture. Her cooking is influenced by sustainable living, as growing up, most of the food consumed was grown and harvested by her own family. This is where she first learn the no waste approach — to make us of all ingredients to the maximum.

Upon discovering Ayurveda, she instantly connected with the holistic healing science and the ancient wisdom of knowing food as medicine as taught by her grandparents, and chose to study under Divya Alter to master the art of Ayurvedic cooking. However, Iraimer’s culinary style is also shaped by her travels through Europe, particularly Italia, where she was introduced to the old traditional ways of Italian cuisine by living and learning from nonna’s in San Gimignano, and Montepulciano.

In the spirit of prasadfood prepared with the mood of devotion – , Iraimer’s dining experiences and nutritional coaching are a testament to food as a spiritual experience. She encourages the receiver to taste and explore the art of feeding the body as a sacred ritual of self-devotion, rather than to think of eating as a task.

Iraimer’s natural talent as an event coordinator, no doubt stemming from her Puerto Rican-Spanish ancestry, has earned her the reputation of an excellent hostess of immersive culinary experiences, combining environments, unique flavors and Ayurvedic education.

With a Puerto Rican Afro-Caribbean, French-Creole Indigenous heritage, Iraimer prides herself in her ability to blend these flavors with Ayurvedic principles to curate dining experiences centered around what to eat-for how you feel.
