AYURVEDA FOUNDATIONS TRAINING
Rooted in tradition. Informed by care.
Carried forward with integrity.
This Is Not Just a Course.
It Is a Cycle of Study, Integration, and Embodied Practice.
Ayurveda was never meant to be learned through information alone.
It was meant to be lived, practiced, and transmitted in relationship.
Ayurveda Foundations is a 100-hour teacher training module designed for yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, and devoted students seeking a culturally rooted, trauma-informed, and ethically transmitted introduction to Ayurveda.
Rooted in the Vedic traditions of India, this training honors Ayurveda as a living lineage—not a wellness trend—while offering practical tools for modern life. The course is designed with care for the nervous system, cultural integrity, and the realities of living in a post-colonial world.
This is not a certification to diagnose or treat illness. It is an invitation into relationship, reverence, and responsibility.
The training combines:
Biweekly online study over 2–3 months
A 7-day in-person immersion retreat in Puerto Rico
A curriculum grounded in Vedic philosophy, ethical transmission, and embodied learning
This course is educational and preventative in nature and may be applied toward a 300HR certification through SMA.

7-Day Ayurveda & Yoga Immersion Retreat
Puerto Rico | Jan 9–16, 2027
This retreat is the culmination of your Ayurveda Foundations Training, where learning becomes lived experience. Over seven days, you will fully immerse in Ayurvedic lifestyle and practice, integrating the principles you’ve studied into your body, mind, and daily rhythms. Each day unfolds with thoughtfully designed routines, including yoga, meditation, reflection, and nourishment, supported by intentionally prepared Ayurvedic meals to balance doshas and guide a gentle cleanse. You will explore herbal medicine and self-care rituals, practice teaching in a supportive cohort, and live within a community that embodies the rhythms, rituals, and philosophy of Ayurveda. The retreat closes with a ceremony honoring lineage, learning, and personal transformation, giving you the confidence and clarity to carry this wisdom forward.
This training is unique because it is grounded in Vedic lineage, trauma-informed, and designed to integrate theory, lifestyle, embodiment, and teaching practice. You will not only learn Ayurveda—you will experience it fully, preparing to guide others with depth, reverence, and authenticity.
